My name is Erin and I have been cheering for nine years now. For the past nine years all I hear about is how cheerleading is not a sport. Cheerleading contains many stills like stunting and tumbling. Both of which can cause many severe injuries. I hope to show people that cheerleading is a sport.
This website will contain information on cheerleading like stunting skills and tumbling techniques. I will post video's of stunts like twist downs, extension liberties, and tick tokes. For tumbling there will be video's for back handsprings, tucks, running tucks, and full's. There will also be video's for jumps like toe-touches, pikes, hurkes, etc. and stretches for each. Each of these topics will have information explaining the skills and the level of each. This website will be updated as much as possible for viewers to get more information in the cheerleading point of view.
My goal for this website is to show people a cheerleaders point of view on cheerleading. I want people to see how difficult the sport is and if one person messes up then there could be serious consequences. Many injuries for cheerleading can contain spinal injury, concussion, broken bone(s), sprained
bone(s), muscle damage, and more. Cheerleading is a team sport so everyone on the team has to give 100% effort and try there hardest.
