Real Life Injuries
Chelsea Barrete use to love to cheerlead. She was a flyer for her squad and could do all the tricks in the air, until one day her couch decided that she should try something new. They were performing a basket toss, which is were they throw the flyer up in the air really high and then catch her. Her bases through her up as high as 15 feet, but when she came down no one caught her. She landed on her head and fractured her skull; bleeding her brain and after the incident her memory loss would trigger sometimes. She'll scream and cry because she doesn't even remember her own parents sometimes of the day. Chelsea was only 13 and her tragic cheerleading accident changed her life forever. Cheerleaders are taught to learn new tricks and suck up their pain, but sometimes it goes to far, like it did for Chelsea.
